On December 21, in the framework of the Unified System of Aviation Security and Civil Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the first two helicopters of the Airbus H-225 Super Puma arrived in Ukraine. The certificate for one of them today was solemnly handed over to the rescuers by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The Head of State noted that this is a vivid testimony to the strengthening of the material base of rescuers and units of the National Guard.
A working meeting of representatives of the Department of SES of Ukraine in Chernivtsi Oblast with colleagues from the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Moldova was held in the Department of SES of Ukraine in Chernivtsi Oblast. The event was planned within the framework of the Eastern Partnership Program "Ukraine-Moldova 2014-2020". The main partners - the head of the department of international cooperation of the General Inspectorate Svetlana Drobot and the chief specialist of the department Stepan Gutsu - arrived in Bukovina to discuss the details of the cooperation.
In order to coordinate the work of all the bodies of the Ministry of Interior system and to monitor the situation, an operational headquarters headed by Deputy Minister of Interior Vadym Troyan was established. It includes the first deputy head of the State Border Guard Service Vasyl Sertavyuk, deputy head of the National Police Oleksandr Fatsevych, deputy head of the SESU Oleh Melchutsky, deputy commander of the National Guard Valery Bondar, and the first deputy head of the State Migration Service Natalia Naumenko and others.
On December 6, 2018, in accordance with the appeal of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in the training centre of operational-rescue service of civil protection of the SES of Ukraine were held a working visit with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, the OSCE Program Office in Tajikistan, and the Department for Humanitarian Demining of the of the SES of Ukraine.
